High Pressure Die Casting
HIGH PRESSURE DIE CASTING IS OUR CRAFT
High pressure die casting injects molten metal into a steel mold under high pressure resulting in a uniform part with good surface finish, dimensional accuracy and durability.
In some cases, secondary machining can be eliminated saving the customer time and money.

Why Choose the Die Casting Process?
- It’s Economical: High-speed production equals lower labor costs per casting and lower finishing costs. Die casting requires fewer operations and, in most cases, little or no machining is required. A single die casting can often replace an assembly of several separate parts.
- Tools Last Longer: Today’s die casting tools are last longer and in many cases a single die will produce over 100,000 parts before it will need replacement. Excellent die design, improved internal cooling, high quality die lubricants and consistent maintenance equals long lasting die life.
- Die Cast parts are Strong and Durable: Die Castings have long service life because of excellent corrosion resistance, finishing characteristics and EMI shielding properties. Castings are much stronger and stiffer than plastic injection moldings with the same dimensions.
- 100% Recyclable: Die Castings are recyclable and can reduce waste and scrap.
- Design Flexibility: Die Casting can achieve a broad range of complex shapes – including complex geometries, holes and threads - with tight, “as cast” tolerances better than any other mass production techniques.
- Surface Finish Options: Die Castings offer multiple finishing techniques - Die cast parts can be produced with smooth or textured surfaces, and they are easily plated or finished with a minimum of surface preparation.
- Reliable Quality: Consistent quality and process stability is achieved over high volumes with excellent dimensional accuracy and stability. Tight tolerances are achieved ‘as cast’ and minimal draft angles are required.
