Commitment to Environment, Health, and Safety

There are many ways we demonstrate our commitment to the environment and employee safety. The most critical way is by operating responsibly and investing in the ongoing efficiency of our assets to reduce our impact on the environment.

Our committment policy is designed to address Stroh’s environmental concerns and to ensure a continuous commitment to environmental awareness and excellence:

It is the policy of Stroh to:

• Comply with all applicable federal, state and local environmental regulations while also complying with other voluntary initiatives to reduce our environmental impact.
• Pursue waste minimization and pollution prevention strategies by implementing and tracking of targets and objectives that we evaluate quarterly.
• Strive to continually improve our Environmental Management System to become more efficient and environmentally conscious in our operations.
• Routinely train our employees and communicate with our neighbors the applicable aspects of Stroh’s Environmental Management System

Environmental Achievements

1. ISO 14001 Environmental Certification and regulatory compliance
2. Zero-discharge, environmental friendly waste control system. All manufacturing bi-products are non-hazardous. Stroh is currently implementing the 5S’ methodology in lean manufacturing practices to eliminate waste.
3. Biodegradable cleaning solvents and products
4. Specialized water-soluble die release formula
5. MPH low holding furnaces
6. Reusable packaging
